The Solomon Leadership Program

Leadership. Character. Purpose.

The Solomon Leadership Program is a premier leadership fellowship for exceptional high school juniors and seniors, equipping the next generation with the skills, confidence, and values to lead with purpose.

Built around the Eight Pillars of Leadership—including Character, Communication, Vision, Judgment, Empowerment, Humility, Tolerance, and Responsibility—the program combines practical leadership training with timeless Jewish values.

Learn from Leaders

Each session features a distinguished guest speaker from a different industry—business, law, medicine, entrepreneurship, public service, nonprofit leadership, and beyond—who shares real-world insights on one of the Eight Pillars of Leadership. Students gain firsthand exposure to accomplished professionals while learning what it truly takes to lead with integrity and impact.

Small-Group Mentorship

One of the defining features of the Solomon Program is its mentorship component.

Each Fellow is placed in a small mentor group led by an accomplished community leader. Throughout the program, mentors help students process what they've learned from the curriculum and guest speakers, encouraging thoughtful discussion and helping them apply leadership principles to their own lives, relationships, and future aspirations.

These mentor relationships often become one of the most meaningful and lasting aspects of the program.

Interactive Leadership Curriculum

The Solomon curriculum challenges students to think critically, communicate effectively, solve problems collaboratively, and develop the character traits essential for lifelong leadership. Every session is highly interactive, blending discussion, case studies, practical exercises, and personal reflection.

College Credit

Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to receive three college credits through our academic partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Build a Network

Beyond the curriculum, Fellows become part of a community of ambitious, thoughtful peers from across Chicago's North Shore. The relationships formed with fellow students, mentors, and guest speakers create a network that extends well beyond the program itself.
